Jai Maah Durga.
Today is Dushera and last day of my godess Durga before she leave us . Yes I am her pampered son and like all years I finally gave up and went down to meet her. She was angry a bit but then a mother is always a mother and no one can take her place. She looks beautiful. Don't you think so.

This is one of my favorite pendal. White and the shade of orange is amazing. I am not sure but i think they have tried to create the replica of Bellurmath.

This is the goddess inside. She is about to leave us so that she can visit us again next year. Today is Vijay Dashmi/Dushera/last day when i visited her and was lucky enough to have some great sweets.

Maah was all decorated in white. The picture quality is quite depressing but in the originals i did find Maah looking really angry on me. I visited her couple of times in London and Singapore but when i was in my home town, Haldia, I did on the last day.

Flavors of pink are always soothing. This one is bit far from my home but it was worth visiting and taking her age old blessings.

I was expecting Maah to be in pink but then I was not consulted about the outlook of Maah. Whatever the color may be, heart of a mother is always big, vast and colorful.

Sky blue, nice try, something new and different.

The goddess was amazingly different. I think this was excellent and it took my breath away. Don't you think that it gives the look of God Natraj/Shiva.

This one is closest to my home and it was my last visit.

Like the goddess the interior decoration was amazingly elegant. When I was on my way back home, she was getting ready to say goodbye. I gave her a smile and promised her that I will see her next time.
She knows very well that I don't like seeing off people.
